Spay & Neutering

Responsibly Controlling Pet Population

Spay & Neuter Procedures

Spaying or neutering procedures prevent dogs and cats from becoming pregnant. The Vet on Fourth can perform these procedures in a gentle and compassionate manner. You can book an appointment for a spay or neuter procedure at our Longview, Tyler, and Hallsville veterinary hospitals by clicking below. When you schedule a spay or neuter procedure, you will be provided with detailed instructions on preparing your pet for the procedure and caring for them afterward.

When to Spay or Neuter

Spaying or neutering procedures are safe and completely healthy at most ages and in most cases. It is often recommended to spay puppies between fourth months and six months of age and to spay kittens as young as eight weeks old in some cases. Contact our staff to discuss the timing of the procedure for your unique cat or dog.
